Acrylic bathtub and spa-shell line concept: automated loading, closed-chamber forming, clamp-edge shearing and supported QC before reinforcement.
The original autoloader feeds a fixed-frame cassette. Zoned heaters and regulated sag-support air prepare the sheet in a closed chamber; forming, cooling and release follow the part recipe.
Retained overhead handling places the shell on a matched nest. Four-sided ShearBot removes sacrificial clamp margins, not the final contour. Cast-acrylic shearing requires qualification.
Transfer directly onto the supported QC jig. With the head clear, controlled lighting and four concept camera positions support barcode-linked operator review before reinforcement.
Poseidon ends at supported, pre-reinforcement QC. Reinforcement, final contour trimming, assembly and packing are separate downstream processes. The 200-second animation is a teaching sequence, not production takt. AI screening and cast-acrylic shearing require qualification.
Four concept cameras, controlled lighting, carrier barcode and operator review. Accessible surfaces only; AI screening requires qualification. QC does not replace dimensional, thickness, leak or final-trim acceptance tests. Actual blank, tool fit, utilities, loads, safety and installed footprint require integrated engineering.
For bathtub OEMs and contract formers. Spa shells and shower trays require part-specific review.
