What if you have to thermoform materials like PP - with thickness 1 to 2 mm for applications like battery casing or medical parts with forming area 1 x 2 m? The material will sag a lot! It is imperative to have sag control of the sheet during the heating cycle for an even heat distribution!

MACHINE FEATURES

• The first step is to load the plastic sheet into the machine – this is done automatically by the roll feeder

• There is a shear cutter to cut each shot before loading the sheet on the machine

• The cut sheet is transported into the forming station using servo motor driven spike chain

• The machine is closed chamber type – meaning the box below the clamped sheet is air-tight sealed allowing to blow air to make a bubble before forming for positive male tools & allowing to blow air to maintain a zero-sag for negative female tools

• There are 2 x tables on the machine – lower table where the main vacuum forming tool is kept & upper table which is the plug assist

• The table movements can be pneumatic OR servo motor driven
