Servo-driven spike chain indexing with ±0.3mm accuracy for high-volume packaging production.
Technologies
Vacuum Forming
Vacuum forming is a thermoforming process where a thermoplastic sheet is heated and shaped over a mold using vacuum pressure. Machinecraft's PF1-X and PF1-C series handle heavy gauge sheets from 2-12mm for automotive, sanitary, and industrial applications.
Pressure Forming
Pressure forming uses both vacuum and positive air pressure (up to 6 bar) to achieve injection-mold quality surface detail at a fraction of the tooling cost. Machinecraft's AM and FCS series are designed for high-volume pressure forming applications.
TOM Method (Three-dimensional Overlay Method)
The TOM method is an advanced vacuum forming technique that applies decorative films to 3D surfaces in a single process. Used for automotive interiors, electronics housings, and consumer products requiring premium surface finishes.
IMG Thermoforming (In-Mold Graining / Vacuum Lamination)
IMG thermoforming wraps artificial leather, textiles, or decorative films around 3D substrates using vacuum lamination. Machinecraft's MC-IMG series is India's first made-in-India IMG thermoforming machine, used for automotive door panels, dashboards, and interior trim.
Active Regions
Machinecraft machines are operating in India, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Russia, South Africa, France, and Italy. Local agents provide sales support and after-sales service in key markets.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is vacuum forming?
Vacuum forming is a thermoforming process where a thermoplastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, stretched over a mold, and shaped using vacuum pressure. It is one of the most cost-effective methods for producing large plastic parts.
What materials can be vacuum formed?
Common vacuum forming materials include ABS, PMMA (acrylic), Polycarbonate (PC), TPO, HDPE, Polystyrene (PS), PET, Polypropylene (PP), PVC, and PLA.
What is the delivery time for a Machinecraft machine?
Typical lead time is 3-6 months depending on machine size and customization requirements. Lab-sized machines may be available sooner.
Does Machinecraft provide after-sales support?
Yes. Machinecraft provides remote support via video call, spare parts supply, annual maintenance contracts, and on-site commissioning by our engineers worldwide.
What sizes of vacuum forming machines does Machinecraft manufacture?
Machinecraft manufactures custom vacuum forming machines ranging from 600x400mm forming area up to 6000x2200mm (XL). Every machine is built to customer specifications.
Can Machinecraft machines process ABS and HDPE?
Yes. Machinecraft machines can process a wide range of thermoplastics including ABS, HDPE, PP, PS, PET, PMMA, PC, TPO, PVC, and PLA, with sheet thickness from 2-12mm.
